What an Interesting Life
Inviting guests as well as members for our lunch on 5th June with yet another of our eclectic, interesting speakers which some of you may be too old to have seen in action. DJ Thomas Paninaro has performed as a DJ across Asia including in many of the top clubs in Shanghai.
This German DJ started spinning discs at the age of 13 in East Berlin using tapes recorded from the radio. Moving to Hong Kong after the fall of the Berlin Wall, he played at major clubs including the Red Rock in Lan Kwai Fong, by 2004 he was playing much bigger venues in mainland China, Beijing and Shanghai. He had 1 million listeners when broadcasting “Live It Up, Shanghai” every week for three years. Followed this success he toured more than 50 other cities in Asia, and back to Europe for some performances, working for Channel V and including the famous Berlin Love Parade the world’s biggest open air dance party attended by more than 1 million revellers. An amazing speaker with a fantastic story that you absolutely must hear.
