HONG KONG SAVAGE CLUB LONG WEEKEND

We are proud to announce a very special and exclusive event available to all members of the Shanghai Savage Club. After lengthy discussions by Brother Wiles with the Hong Kong Savage Club, thank you Brother Wiles) we can confirm that members of the Shanghai Savage Club have been invited by the Hong Kong Savage Club to attend a weekend of madness.

Note: in order to ensure that members are able to attend Friday’s lunch on time you will need to arrive in Hong Kong on Thursday.

• Location: The Royal Hong Kong Regiment (The Volunteers) Association, Happy Valley http://www.rhkr.org/. Warning – it is likely that this will be the starting point of evening festivities.
  

7 April: Morning to 18:00

• Hong Kong Sevens
  
• Location: Indian Recreation Club http://www.indianrecreationclub.com/
  
• Note: that HKSC is not organising tickets for the rugby and have instead proposed a lively venue close to the stadium that will be showing the rugby. Details to follow.
  

7 April: 18:00 ‘til late

• Private BBQ hosted by Brother Savage David Williamson and the HKSC.
  
• Location: Flat 12 A/Rooftop, Mandarin Villa, 10 Shiu Fai Terrace, Happy Valley
  

8 April: All day

• Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be long, full-on days and with the expectation that SSC members will return to Shanghai on Sunday this event is entirely optional.

Dress Code

For the Sevens Long Lunch, HKSC members who have blazers are expected to wear them. Same is suggested for SSC members. If you do not possess a SSC Blazer jacket, club tie and club cufflinks are required.

Travel Arrangements

Each member is required to organise their own flights and hotel accommodation. Since all the events mentioned above are in Happy Valley and after party events are likely to be in Wanchai we would recommend a hotel in Admiralty and Wanchai, but the choice is yours.

Response

We're only 4 weeks away, and this event is always oversubscribed. HKSC have nearly 70 members now, and with only 30 seats available for lunch it WILL be a sell out. We have been requested to confirm names of all members no later than COB 16 March, 2018. After this time HKSC will open up the lunch to its members.
